Beneficiaries

Support may be requested by: 

• farmers and farmers' associations. 

You can apply for the prize if 

• the area covered by the commitment shall be 50% of the area of the holding used for arable crops; 
• the area under arable crops is not less than 2 ha. 

Objectives 

Submeasure 10. 1. 3 has as its general objective the conservation of soil resources and the promotion of conservative agriculture, in particular through: 

• the spread of techniques where the soil is not worked (no till technique or NT), which involves sowing without tillage. 

Amount of the premium

The annual premium paid per hectare of committed area will be 322,00 euros. 

Commitments 

To get the award the company needs to: 

• introduce the technique of No-till (NT) processing of arable crops, or the technique of “strip till", which involves strip processing; 
• sow on firm; 
• not to remove crop residues and restoke; 
• keep the Register of cultivation operations and stock records up to date for verification.

Selection principles

There is no minimum admissible score: the 100 points are assigned within the type of operations activated according to the organic matter content of the soil, with priority given to land with a content classified as "low".
Beneficiaries and territorial scopes are not relevant for the attribution of the score.

The areas of homogeneous areas (plots) belonging to the same application for support and having obtained the same score, will be aggregated for the purposes of formulating the ranking. In the event of equal scores, priority will be given to homogeneous areas (plots) whose aggregate area expressed in square metres - in the circumstances referred to in the previous paragraph - will be smaller.
