Beneficiaries

The premium can be requested by: 

• peasants; 
• farmers' associations; 
• public bodies; 
• management bodies of national and regional parks.

Objectives

The operation provided for in submeasure 10. 1. 4 aims to support the maintenance and reintroduction into the territory of varieties, cultivars, clones and populations threatened by genetic erosion, in order to reduce the risk of extinction and protect regional agricultural biodiversity. 

The conservation of the genetic resources of our territory are important for regional culture and culture. 

You can apply for the premium if you are using the funding to conserve local endangered varieties on the regional list. 

Priority shall be given if the agricultural area is located in the “vulnerable zones" in accordance with Directive 91/676/EEC; in the “Special Protection Areas and Sites of Community Importance"; in the Natural Areas and Agricultural Areas of High Nature Value (HNV); in the areas of landscape enhancement. 

Commitments 

When you’ll receive the premium, you’ll commit yourself to: 

• cultivate, conserve and reproduce on the farm, for five years, one or more of the plant genetic resources present in the regional list; 
• grant the Region, if requested, free of charge seed or propagating material.

Selection principles

There is no minimum admissible score. The score cannot be accumulated. The 100 points are assigned in the territorial scope according to the location of the agricultural areas in the preferential areas.
The beneficiaries and the types of operations activated are not relevant for the purposes of scoring.

In the case of farms falling within more than one type of preferential area, indicated among the territorial areas, the score will be assigned in proportion to the territory falling within the areas. In the event of equal points, priority will be given to applications for support for varieties with a level of risk of 2 in descending order of area occupied by the same.

Amount of the premium

The annual premium paid per hectare of committed area shall be differentiated according to crop and degree of risk of extinction (see measurement sheet).
