Beneficiaries

The funding may be provided by:

• active farmers registered with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture, with a VAT number in the agricultural field identified by code Ateco 01 and operating on a utilised agricultural area of at least 1 hectare cultivated with organic farming systems;
• farmers associations registered with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture, with a VAT number in the agricultural field identified by code Ateco 01, which together reach a utilised agricultural area of at least 50 hectares cultivated with organic farming systems.

The areas concerned must: 

• not be in “conversion";
• remain in the possession of the beneficiary holders for the entire duration of the commitment. 

For the entire period beneficiaries must keep: 

• the maintenance of access requirements; 
• the entire area of the holding’s liability to organic production methods;
• the compliance with cross-compliance standards; 
• the compliance with the minimum agricultural activity; 
• the optimal conservation of the area concerned; 
• the respect of the practices foreseen by the greening; 
• the annual submission of the application for payment/confirmation for the whole period.

Objectives

To support the continuation of organic farming practices on areas cultivated with such methods. 

Selection principles

Submeasure 11.2 is assessed without a minimum acceptable score and has a maximum score of up to 100 points, divided as follows:

• territorial scopes, up to a maximum of 60 points in turn so differentiated:
  • areas vulnerable to nitrates of agricultural origin in relation to the need for containment (max 30 points);
  • areas of the "Natura 2000" Network in relation to the need to maintain compatible conditions and reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers in order to protect the species and habitats present there (max 30 points).
     
• beneficiaries, up to a maximum of 40 points in turn so differentiated:
  • active farmer who associates with others (max 30 points);
  • farm with a single farm body (max 10 points).

The types of operations activated have no relevance for the purposes of scoring. In the case of companies falling into more than one type of area subject to environmental criticalities and/or of high environmental value, the score will be assigned proportionally. In the case of equal scores, priority will be given to applications for support for larger areas of intervention.

The grant is conditional on production carried out under organic farming in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 834/2007.

• cherry euro/ha per individual beneficiary 900. 0; per associated beneficiary 900. 0; 
• other interest-bearing euro/ha per individual beneficiary 900. 0; per associated beneficiary 900. 0;
• cereals, grain legumes and fodder euro/ha per individual beneficiary 144,7; per associated beneficiary 148,1;
• tomato euro/ha per individual beneficiary 443,7; per associated beneficiary 447,7; 
• potato euro/ha per individual beneficiary 293,7; per associated beneficiary 297,1; 
• other vegetables euro/ha per individual beneficiary 327,7; per associated beneficiary 331,1; 
• grazing euro/ha for single beneficiary 18,0; for associated beneficiary 19,5. 

Agricultural area in greenhouse and greenhouse tunnels will be excluded from the prize.
