Beneficiaries

Agricultural undertakings which have suffered damage as a result of natural disasters and which have been formally recognised by the Apulia Region may apply for funding. 
The damage must amount to at least 30% of the agricultural potential of the individual beneficiary. 

Objectives

Restoring agricultural and livestock stocks damaged by adverse weather conditions, catastrophic events and natural disasters, including plant diseases and pest infestations. 

In the agricultural and zootechnical heritage are included: 

• terrains 
• livestock 
• machinery, tools and equipment 
• productive woody plantations 
   

Selection principles

The assessment of Submeasure 5.2 shall comprise a subdivision into macro-criteria, a minimum permissible score of 20 points and a maximum permissible score of up to 100 points, as defined for:

• territorial scopes, with maximum attributable score and relative sub-attribution:
  • impact of the damage on the farm's agricultural potential (max 20 points);
  • impact of the damage on the territorial agricultural potential (max 60 points).
     
• beneficiaries with a maximum attributable score of 20 points and with a business size that favours the smaller size.

For the same score, priority will be given to Applications for support that require a smaller investment. The types of operations activated are not relevant for the attribution of the score.

Eligible expenditure

The support shall finance the rehabilitation of: 

• land, farm facilities, production facilities, storage facilities, animal shelters, greenhouses 
• livestock farming; 
• machinery, tools and equipment; 
• destroyed tree production facilities to counteract annoying Xylella infection.
